Low Toxic
Envelope uses natural pigments when dyeing their fabrics. This process is called vegan dyeing, and is a way to reduce chemical use.
Biodegradable
This product is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100-certified, which tells us that there’s no chemicals in the fabric when you receive it. This means that the natural material can discarded in a compost bin with other biodegradable materials a long long time from now in the future when they are worn out. The tags can be removed before and the thread can be removed after the fabric has biodegraded.
Recycled packaging
Envelope wrap their garments in recycled material, also encouraging the end consumer to recycle the waste material again.

Care
Machine wash 30° silk/wool program with mild detergent and in a washing bag. Do not bleach, soak or rub. Do not tumble dry. Line dry in shade. Iron inside out on low heat. Dry cleanable.
Remember, washing less is more sustainable, and silk will not smell like synthetic materials with wear, and will need less washing
