This product is made in Portugal. Every worker is paid fair wages, and the factory follows modern standards for safety. Rita Row keep s a tight relationship with their production sites, as both the conditions but also the quality of their products is vital to them. They also constantly challenge their status quo and evolve to do better. The close relationship with partners is an ongoing process, and this is also how trust is built and how change is done. Each employee of the factories and sub-suppliers further down in the production chain is by Rita Row considered as a member of their team and should be treated as such.

The production is done with focus on quality and longevity and the skills and knowledge of the workers making each Rita Row-garment is an important part of that.

Low Carbon Footprint

Rita Row produce in their home country, Spain, and in neighboring country Portugal. The raw material is made in Spain and the thread and buttons originate from Spain, Italy and France. Rita Row want to support local production and hinder raw material and goods from traveling all over the world. It is also a great way to produce in small batches and hinder overproduction.

Low Toxic

This fabric is OEKO tex certified. In the colouring process, there are used chemicals, as the coloring must resist wear and tear. The process is however a closed loop, where all toxic material are kept in controlled manner and disposed correctly.

Made to Last

The aim of Rita Row is to make products that will have a long lifespan and look beautiful with wear and tear.  Therefore there are made no compromises in any part of the production process, and the raw material is always considered in regards to longevity, versatility, timelessness, and hopefully it can even pass on to the next generation! The whole process, from the initial design, to the sourcing, sampling, production and distribution of every item is carefully considered.

Use of synthetic fibers

At JF Curated we try to avoid stocking synthetic materials, but we do consider longevity as an important factor, and in this case, we believe that the added synthetic fiber to the product will increase longevity, and make the fabric stay stronger and look better in the long run. This is a product you should be able to wear day in and day out, and it should keep its shape and structure with a lot of use.

Use of Seaqual as raw material

SEAQUAL is high quality recycled polyester yarn made from 100% recycled materials including post consumer plastic bottles and plastic captured from the sea, thats why it contributes to preserving natural resources and reducing the waste in the planet’s water. It has the same properties as virgin polyester, an important factor when recycling plastic. SEAQUAL has teamed up with clean-up programs and communities all over the planet, and the goal is to fight ocean pollution, with the making of a new raw material as a bonus.
