This product is knitted in Lithuania. Every worker is paid fair wages, and the factory follows modern standards for safety. Kupong keeps a tight relationship with their production sites, as both the conditions but also the quality of their products is vital to them. They also constantly challenge their status quo and evolve to do better.

Supportin traditional skills and natural sources

Kupong use an Italian supplier, a small factory with enormous experience. The raw material, the merino wool, is sourced from a farm which follows both the Wolmark Standard and the REACH regulation. Like all sheepswool, lambswool contains lanolin, which naturally strengthens the wool fibers and gives it a great shine.

The aim of Kupong is to create knitwear with a quality superior to what you find on the mass marked. Therefore there are made no compromises in any part of the production process, and they only do small batch production, carefully considered from start to finish.

Kupong want to grown slowly and organically, in a pace that fits the brand. For the future they want to make return systems for their knitwear, to fix items and give new life for the stuff that is not used. Your product is made to be versatile, timeless and last for a lifetime, and hopefully even pass on to the next generation!

Now Toxic

In the colouring process, there are used chemicals, as the colour is strong and must resist wear and tear. The process is however a closed loop, where all toxic material are kept in controlled manner and disposed correctly.

Biodegradable

Your product is biodegradable, and can be composted in a home-compost or in a garden, when it sometime in the future is not possible to wear anymore.

Saves water

This product saves water in the way the production site has minimizes its water use. They use 6lt/kg 80% , and the used water is also recycled for new use. This means that they recycle 90% of their production waste.

Saving energy

The production facility where your product is made is equipped with equipment which guarantees a 40% reduction of energy consumption.

Low Carbon Footprint

The sourcing of this product is done from European manufacturers. The merino is sourced in Italy and the garment is knitted in Lithuania. This saves travel miles and reduces carbon footprint.
