This product is handmade by designer Frida in her studio in Oslo. You are supporting a slow and close process, where old knowledge is kept alive, and where your product has been touched by hands all the way from raw material to finished product. Every piece is handcrafted and locally produced.
All products are handmade in the designers studio in Oslo by Frida herself. She makes sure to use required and adequate protection equipment like goggles and cloves, and that all use of chemicals is done in a ventilated room, in a proper and secure way, with the right protections and right storing of products. In regards to Frida’s small subcontracors, they are all guaranteed to have good working condition, adequate pay, no forced labour or child labour, and to follow Norwegian law when it comes to sick leave, maternity leave etc.
All raw material, processing and production is short travelled, as Frida works with a local silver refinery, suppliers and manufacturing companies in Norway.
100 % of Aur Studio’s raw material is recycled gold and silver, and all scraps from production is carefully collected for re-use, taking every little piece back to the refinery for remelting.
All of Aur Studio’s products are Made To Order, made on demand after your order is placed, a process which saves the environment from overproduction and also elevates the value of each product.

Store your jewellery in the provided jewellery box to prevent scratching.
Clean your plated jewellery with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt it has acquired. Gently rubbing the surface of your gold plated jewellery using a soft jewellery cloth also helps restore shine.
